What is Audio Visual Services?

Audio Visual Services provides audio and presentation technology support for non-classroom college events, meetings, conferences and cultural programs for faculty, staff, and students and outside organizations.

PLEASE NOTE: All Event Requests Require a Minimum of Two Week Notification. 

Early planning will allow us to schedule equipment and staff in advanced for a smoother operation.

AVS does not provide: PowerPoint remotes, Podiums, unattached laptops, Mac VGA adaptors, audio tapes, CDs, flash drives, etc.

AVS does not provide audio visual support for classroom needs. If a faculty member needs AV support for classes, please contact the DoIT (ext 8200) (Department of Information Technology) Help Desk (212-237-8200) and ask to have a work order submitted to CLSS (Classroom Lab Support Services).

Please submit your Audio Visual request using EMS system located on the Inside John Jay Website (under Resources).
