Laura Greenberg, a native New Yorker, has degrees from Brooklyn College, Manhattan School of Music, City College and Columbia University. Her music has been recorded by Vienna Modern Masters, Opus One Records, North South Recordings, and has been performed live in concert halls in New York; Washington DC; and Paris, France.  She has been interviewed and her music has been performed on WQXR, NPR and WBAI radio in New York City.  She has been awarded prizes and grants from Columbia University, New York State Council of the Arts, and the City University. Dr. Greenberg enjoys teaching Songwriting, Piano Class, music history, and music theory here at John Jay College..
