John Jay College launches a new online publication – Fierce Advocate – live now at http://fierceadvocate.jjay.cuny.edu/.

Designed as a platform to feature the unique voices of students, faculty, staff, and alumni, Fierce Advocate aggregates and showcases the many perspectives of the John Jay community. It is an edited publication that aims to provide journalistic coverage of local and national issues important to the John Jay community and beyond. 

The new e-publication creates a thoughtful online space to explore the opinions, research, knowledge and expertise of John Jay students, faculty, staff, and alumni on contemporary and relevant news topics. It also serves as a central hub for any media content produced by the John Jay community.

“Fierce Advocate helps build meaningful dialogues on the issues we care about,” said Rama Sudhakar, Chief Communications Officer at the College. New submissions are posted daily in the form of blog posts, news articles, op-eds, feature stories, personal essays, photo essays, film and literature reviews, podcasts, and more from the College community.
