Jane Bowers, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at John Jay College, will retire and step down from her position at the end of this academic year, effective August 1. Provost Bowers leaves behind an unparalleled record of achievement including the establishment of the Academic Advisement Center and Teaching and Learning Center , the creation of the CUNY Justice Academy and John Jay Honors Program as well the revision of the General Education program among many major accomplishments.
